Our host families vary in age, background and composition. (Sometimes it's even possible that our hosts guide you through Amsterdam, or will take you on a boattrip through the canals.)
You can spend time with them to find out more about our Dutch culture and cuisine. We offer guests our local hospitality, sometimes resulting in friendships for life!

Home dinners take up 3 to 4 hours. When you book, Dine with the Dutch will match you with a host family, based on your individual preferences.

To increase your chances being matched with the right host, we advise you to book at least 7 days prior your stay in the Netherlands.

We will confirm your application, make a match and as soon as your payment has been made you will receive a detailed description of your host family!
We will also send you a detailed description of how to get there (including details of the relevant public transport).
